Welcome to the Kern County Employees' Retirement Association website. This site was developed to assist KCERA members in obtaining valuable information about their retirement benefits.

KCERA is a defined benefit plan administered under the County Employees' Retirement Law (CERL) of 1937. The plan provides retirement, disability, survivor and death benefits to eligible County and Special District employees and their eligible beneficiaries. We encourage our members to become familiar with the benefits offered by the plan.
