Alameda Update

The next phase of the Alameda project will be considered by the Board of Retirement at the next regular Board meeting on January 20, 2021 at 8:30am via teleconference.  The Board of Retirement will be presented with an action plan to initiate the refund of over-collected contributions to the members who had special pay allowances that were affected by the California Supreme Court as part of the Alameda Decision.  Discussion items will include the mode of the payments, as well as the impacts to members.  The agenda will be posted on or before January 15, 2021 at, and will contain instructions to participate in the virtual meeting.
