Mr. Couch has served as Kern County Supervisor for District 4 since 2013. From 1999 to 2012, he sat on the Bakersfield City Council, including serving as the city’s vice-mayor and as chairman of various council subcommittees. Before joining the County, Mr. Couch worked in the financial services industry for more than 20 years. He also served as an advisory board member on the Mendiburu Magic Foundation; past board president of the Boys & Girls Club; past board member of the Valley Water Alliance; and past board member of Youth for Christ.
Mr. Couch earned a B.S. in Business Administration (Accounting) from San Jose State University.
