Ms. Morton reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer, serves as clerk of the Board of Retirement, and provides administrative support to the Executive Division. She is responsible for all KCERA payroll processes, facility management, and maintenance of personnel records. Before joining KCERA in 2014, she spent six years as an office services specialist at Kern Medical Center. She began her County career as a legal process clerk for the Probate Department of the Kern County Superior Court. Prior to KCERA, she served in various administrative roles, including both medical and real estate areas of the private sector. Ms. Morton earned an A.A. in Liberal Arts from Bakersfield College.
