KCERA is celebrating a remarkable milestone—our 80th Anniversary.  Founded in 1945, we have been dedicated to expertly administering retirement benefits, prudently managing the assets of the Association, and delivering quality membership services to public employees, retirees, and their beneficiaries. Over eight decades, we’ve built a legacy of positively impacting countless lives across Kern County and beyond.

1944 Kern County adopts the County Employees Retirement Act of 1937
