Update: 9:25 am 6/1/26: KCERA completed the payment transmission process to all banks early Friday morning, and most major banks processed the payments the same day. There are a few banks that could not process the transaction until today (Monday). Those banks should complete the transfer today.

Update: 3 pm 5/29/26: KCERA has completed the payment transmission process. At this stage, deposits may appear at different times depending on each financial institution's policies and processing schedules.  Some banks may not process the transaction until Monday.

Please know that resolving this issue remains our highest priority.

 

Update 8:50 am 5/29/26: KCERA is aware of a bank delay affecting the processing of retiree benefit payments scheduled for today.

Payments are currently being processed and, depending on your financial institution, funds may be deposited later today or by tomorrow.

We understand the importance of receiving your retirement benefit on time and recognize the inconvenience this delay may cause. We sincerely apologize and appreciate your patience as we work to complete the payment process as quickly as possible.
